Do you know Geri?
No. And the one thing that REALLY irritates me is people that email me because they think that I am Geri. Please, please do not do this. I have no way of contacting her. I'm just a fan like you.

Do you host?
I'm currently not hosting, if and when I do I will announce it on the homepage. I'm also currently not offering subdomains as I previously used to.

Surely you have affiliates?
I currently do not have affiliates. Although this is a fansite, I try to keep it as clean of promotion and ads as much as possible. If and when I do accept affiliates I will announce it on the homepage, please do not email me asking about affiliates, you will be redirected to this page.

Can I link to your files?
The only files that I allow linking directly to are news stories and the main page. Linking to any other files is considered hotlinking. If I find anyone hotlinking to media files (this includes photos, audio, and video) I will contact the owner first, if the owner fails to desist after 5 days, I will then contact their service provider and ask that the linked content be removed and/or that the site be shut down. Hotlinking is not the simple fact of stealing content, you are stealing money. Sites are alloted a certain amount of bandwidth each month (that's the amount of data that can be sent from the site), once a site runs over that amount their site is either shut down, or they are automatically charged for more bandwidth - which is money out of the owner's pocket. People found to be hotlinking to audio or video can potentially also face linking to files they never intended to, please do not put it past me to change the content of audio or video that you are linking to, to something deemed "inappropriate".

There's no privacy policy. Is my personal information safe?
There currently is no privacy policy. You're information is as safe as I can promise. However when sending information through this site we do not use SSL encryption so it is possible that your information could be captured by some unknown while routing through the server. But other than that your information is soley used for the purposes on this site and is never sold to a third party (a.k.a. People who fill your box with spam that you will never, ever, ever read.)

What programs do you use, and where is this site hosted?
Photoshop 7/CS, Editpad (I write all the code by hand, don't steal), CuteFTP Pro, and none of your business :).

Will you send me a mp3?
No. You're joking right? Would you email Geri's record company and ask them to send you an MP3?

Why doesn't my old members area login work?
After version 1.0 of GeriFan I realized that it was just too tedious for me to manually enter EACH members login information. It was frustrating not only for me but the vistor as well. So, now the system is automatic. I don't have to enter the information and you don't have to wait for me to enter it. So we both win. However I had no way of transferring the old member records over to the new system. So everyone needs to sign up again.
