Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell is still keen to hog the limelight.
She had a run-in with a clubber at the top London nightspot, 'Boujis', when she attempted to storm a toilet cubicle dressed as a policewoman.
"Geri was at a fancy dress party and was decked out in a very revealing policewoman-style uniform - set off with suspenders and stilettos. She was with two pals who were dressed identically and Geri insisted that they had to behave as though they were real coppers," The Mirror quoted a source as saying.
However, not everyone was taken in by Geri's practical joke.
"She decided to go into the ladies' loos and thought it would be hilarious to wind up someone using one of the cubicles," said a surprised onlooker.
"So, she started banging on the toilet door, saying: 'It's the police and we know what you're doing!' and demanding that the girl inside leave the loo immediately. The banging got louder and she carried on shouting at this girl to get out. The last straw was when Geri started peeping through the crack in the door to get a look at the girl," added the onlooker.
The enraged girl came out of the loo and blasted Geri.
"She came storming out of her cubicle and shouted, 'Do you have any idea how annoying you are? Why don't you get a life? When she realized it was Geri Halliwell and not just some ordinary drunk who'd been annoying her, it seemed to infuriate her even more," revealed a source.
Nevertheless, Geri did not help matters much.
"She told her to get a sense of humor, but some of the others were saying Geri had been out of order and she began to look a bit upset by the whole thing. Her joke backfired," added the source.
However, a spokesperson for the singer, whose new solo will be out this summer confirmed, "Geri was at a fancy dress party. Anything that happened would have been innocent fun."
