After conquering the world with their esscence of Spice, the two former Spice Girl members, Geri Halliwell 32 formely know as Ginger Spice, and her fellow ex-band member Emma Bunton 28 were seen yesterday, in early hours of the morning, leaving after the vicious pair attended a dinner party for the BBC. A spokes person for both the girls commented on how the BBC organised for both Geri and Emma to play 2 sisters in the forthcoming Televised Play Production "Annie". This of course being the second time the 2 spices have reformed themselves after the Dinner Meeting Victoria Veckham held in her house In Hetfordshire In January of 2003. The decison of whether or not the two ex spice girls members agree on playing the 2 sisters has not been decided. A spokesperson for Emma refers this as being "A great way for the girls to hit off a brilliant comeback". Source: Daily Mirror

Oh dear, Geri Halliwell isn't having a great build-up to Christmas. While out on the town with her new Scottish 'mate' Darius Danesh and her manager Richard Thompson, they decided to pop into the La Dolce Vita Christmas ball. But according to the Sun and the Mirror, her unexpected arrival threw the organisers into a tizz, especially since the glamour puss wouldn't let the snappers snap her. "And it got worse. Geri and her aides had got it into their heads that she was expected to make a speech in front of the VIP crowd and then introduce superstar Sting's performance. "In fact she even hastily scribbled her speech on the back of a menu, but sadly her services were not required," the Mirror gloats. And to top off her humiliating time, she was stuck on a table near the kitchen while the likes of Sadie Frost, Charlotte Church, Elle Macpherson, Sophie Anderton, Penny Lancaster and Jemima Khan got frontrow seats. Meow. "She was there as my guest. The UNFPA, which is the branch of the UN Geri works for, wanted her to give a speech but the request didn't reach my office until the very last minute. So it was all a bit confusing," droned her manager. "And as for the photos, I simply asked the snappers to wait until later in the evening. She wasn't there in her official capacity." One thing's for sure. We can expect plenty of gossip next year when Geri Halliwell makes her merry way to Manchester. The former spice girl has made a date at the Carling Apollo on May 14 as part of her first solo UK tour. And, judging by her previous visit to the city, she won't be letting her visit go unnoticed. Geri is no stranger to Manchester, having performed here several times on her own and with the Spice Girls. This will be her first full-length solo concert. However, it is off-stage that the pint-sized pop star really makes her presence felt. Take the time she stood on top of a car in Market Street to promote her album, Scream If You Wanna Go Faster, for instance. Or the time she jetted in to Trafford Park by helicopter. Of course, fans will already have seen her in action on TV of late promoting her recent top five hit, Ride It, as she re-emerged into the spotlight. Geri Halliwell has proved she's a first-class girl. Publicising the Royal Mail's red letter day, the pop star showed off her curves in a purple wraparound dress. She seemed oblivious as it slowly gaped open to reveal big Bridget Jones-style knickers. V.G. move, Geri - we love flattering pants! The teeny Spice was almost dwarfed by a pillar box as she hung on in her knickers. A record 30 million stamps are expected to be sold in Britain today. Source: Sky News

Geri has just announced her live tour dates for next year. Called Live 05, the former Ginger Spice promises some spectacular shows. If her performance at GAY in London's Astoria last month was anything to go by, it'll be a fantastically lavish and over-the-top tour with Geri at her finest. The gigs starts on May 3 in Dublin and ends on May 29 in Cardiff. She'll also take in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Manchester, Birmingham, Brighton, Plymouth, London, Doncaster and Blackpool. Ring the church bells! Get 'em out for the lads! "War is over"! Posh and Geri have made up! The Sun brings the news many have not even dared to pray for as it reports on how Victoria Beckham has buried the hatchet and invited Geri Halliwell to the christening of her sons Brooklyn and Romeo. "Victoria has forgiven Geri," says a source close to the Beckhams. "They are very close again and Posh has told Geri she wants her to be part of the christening." Here at last is a move that will give fresh hope to the stalled Middle East peace process for, if Posh can move on and forgive Geri for quitting the Spice Girls mid-tour in 1998, then anyone can air kiss and make up. But while Posh gets ready to throw a big bash to prove that she and Day-vid are back on track and very much in love, we wonder what else we can expect on the big day. And the answer is fish, lots and lots of fish. We can be more specific, and exclusively let it be known that it's not just any fish - it's trout. The Sun has a list of "pouting celebrities and their fishy namesakes" and notes that Posh will be supplying the steelhead tiger trout. It's a pretty plain-looking specimen, with the usual arrangement of fleshy lips, fins and gills and dressed in head-to-toe silver. But there is more.
